Art for Autism
Eileen Felice Artist
There is something magical when her brush hit’s the canvas, you can tell she is having fun. Eileen paints with abandon, emotion and colors rule.
Her spontaneous paintings and her use of primary colors show her exuberance for the art.
Even though she follows few rules, the finished paintings have won her many awards in Maryland and also Florida.
The final outcome is not as important to her as the process of painting. She feels if she knew how it would turn out she would be bored.
Not everyone peaks in their youth, Eileen began in her mid 60’s. She believes life is short…do what feels good, just do it.
Eileen’s paintings are displayed at the Cecil County Arts Council (Elkton, MD); at Kathy’s Korner (North East, MD); the Painted Lady (Havre de Grace, MD) and also in galleries throughout Southwest Florida.
Eileen studied with now deceased, internationally renowed, impressionistic artist Gale Bennett.
Having been the sole parent of five children, plus mother to her three sisters, you can understand why she finds painting so relaxing. Her youngest son, Christopher, has Downs Syndrome and most of the proceeds from her work will be going to Bayside Community Network in Elkton, MD for the purchase of iPads for individuals with disabilities.
